Lyle Soldan, 88, retired Massey Ferguson Industrial Division Manager and Prudential Insurance Agent, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014. Service will take place 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 20, at Downing and Lahey Mortuary, West Chapel. Lyle was preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Alma Mae Soldan; brothers, Richard and Jean; sisters, Mary Louise Stewart and Wilta Bailey. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Beth; brother-in-law, Clerin Davidson, both of Wichita; nephews, Dr. Dan Davidson (Masha), of Washington, D.C., David Soldan (Dorothy), of Manhattan, KS; nieces, Linda Hutton (Brad), of Topeka, KS, Rebecca Knight (Charles), of Alaska, and additional nephews: John, Steven, and Cliff Stewart, Roger, Larry, and Jerry Bailey.
