Bonnie Lynch was an awesome force in the field of education! Her dedication to improving teaching and learning has made a lasting impact on the many schools and educators she has touched. I will remember Bonnie as a woman of steel with a soft heart! Matt, you should know that when she talked of you and your wife at NCA meetings her face would beam. She was very proud of you!
Bonnie was truly a wonderful person. As a student she was kind, caring, firm yet understanding. As a student teacher she was a mentor who reminded me that as a student, I too needed some helpful prodding at times. I was honored to know her as both. I took her lessons on life and have used them often along my path. Know that she is remembered fondly. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I was so sorry to hear of Bonnie’s passing. She was a world class educator with a heart as big as the great outdoors. Her work ethic was legendary and her skills as deep as anyone I know. We all thought of her as hard working and competent (underline both of those), but she was also generous and fun. Matt, she was appreciated and admired and will be greatly missed.
Bonnie was a colleague and friend. She was one of the finest professionals I have ever known. No one worked harder than she did. When she asked her staff to work at something, we knew that whatever we did, she did more. She was also gracious and generous in her appreciation of people. When my daughter was very ill, Bonnie was one of the first people at my door offering to do anything we needed, and I knew she truly meant it. She was a formidable person, but with a heart beyond boundaries. I have been pained by her cancer, touched by her courage, and left with a profound sadness with her passing. But anyone who knew her, knows she left a deep and loving mark on her friends and family. When I think of Bonnie, I hear that deep resonating laugh, and that is how I will think of her is with love and humor. She made me a better stronger person, and I am grateful to have known her. My sympathy goes to Matt and her family. Please know she was loved and cherished by many people. Bonnie, my friend, you had a life truly well-lived. Carlene Frost
Bonnie was a woman of passion! I will remember her most for that. Passion for her family, for her work, for her friends, for basketball, and for life! Our accreditation world in Michigan was graced and enriched by Bonnie’s tenure with us. She touched many of our professional lives with her prowess and skills in the work she loved, that of making schools better for our kids. We are all better for having known and learned from her. We will miss her dearly!
Bonnie served as the state director for Kansas NCA for numerous years during the critical implementation of the outcomes model. Her leadership provided direction that was invaluable to schools moving forward during this philosophical shift. She went on to serve in the regional office and her technical expertise was expanded to 19 states, the Department of Defense Schools around the world, and the Navajo Nation. Bonnie left a tremendous mark on the world of accreditation with her dedication to excellence. She will be sadly missed.
I was saddened to learn of Bonnie’s passing. I have many fond memories of Bonnie through our association in NCA and I loved her laugh and sense of humor. Sincere condolences to her family.

I was saddened to hear of Bonnie’s death. As a fellow NCA colleague for many years, I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and learning from her. She helped so many schools improve themselves with her workshops and presentations. We all will miss her.
