Mrs. Hynes was a gentle, tender soul. She and my mother had a special friendship that I always admired. I will never forget Mrs. Hynes or her beautiful smile. My heart is with you dear Kathy, Dan and Rita.

So many, many great memories growing up with this sweet lady and her beautiful family. Ahhh-it was the best of times.
Definitely great memories
Deepest sympathy to all the Hynes and Carbery families on the passing of Madeline may her gentle soul rest in peace.
Madeline was such a kind, caring and helpful lady. She would go out of her way to help others who were suffering. I have many warm memories of car rides, meals in her home and sleepovers. She was quite the hostess and motherly figure. I treasure the beautiful times I shared with her and the Hynes Family. Mary Wolff Hansen
Dearest Kathy McCoy,
My deepest sympathy at the loss of your wonderful Mother. I’m sure it will be a difficult adjustment, learning to live without her. I know I have had a hard time adjusting to not having
Dad in my life.
He brought so much laughter and joy. Your mom was a very kind woman, who loved her family very much. She will be dearly missed. You will be in my thoughts and prayers in the coming year as you adjust to her looking down on you from above. Love Always Your Friend, Mary Hansen
Your Dad was the best, so funny! Thanks so much for these & your previous comments.

I am just learing today of Madeline’s passing. So very sad to hear this news. Every year I would share with her the annual Harry Hynes Awardee that is given to outstanding community physicians participating in NCI clinical trials. It is a special event for me as I worked so closely with Dr. Hynes for many years. Madeline was so proud and pleased to know of Dr. Hynes’s legacy continuing. I will miss her calls and beautiful thank you notes. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I went to high school with two of her children in the 80s. She was a very pleasant, shy, and family oriented. She was a good mother….
