Lonborg, Madelyn “Carol” Miller, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015. Madelyn “Carol” Miller was born in Hobart, IN on January 21, 1929. She was the youngest of three daughters born to Walter H. and Mae Miller. She taught kindergarten in Long Beach, CA for two years before becoming Mrs. Arthur Charles Lonborg on July 19. 1952. Art and Carol were married for sixty-three years. It is a rare accomplishment in this day and age. Carol enjoyed gardening and baking. It was not unusual for her to bake five hundred cookies at Christmas to distribute to family and friends. She also enjoyed a good game of tennis and bridge with their large social circle of friends and associates. She was a long standing member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Wichita, KS. She is survived by her beloved husband, Art C. Lonborg of Wichita; Lynn L. Loveland (Mike) of Wichita, Art W. Lonborg (Emily) of Centennial, CO, Laura L. Peterson (Paul) of Olathe, KS. She also enjoyed and was endlessly entertained by her seven grandchildren, Matthew, Lindsey, Emma, Elise, Erica, Jake and Brian. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimers Association, 1820 E Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS 67214. Memorial Services will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, July, 28, 2015 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
