Madge E. Martin, 94, retired bookkeeper and homemaker, died Monday, May 1, 2017. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Friday, May 5, 2017, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Graveside Service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Bennington Cemetery, Bennington, KS. Preceded in death by her husband, Major Donald J. Martin, USAF, Retired; parents, Henry & Edna Gans; brother, Henry Gans, Jr.; sister, Margaret Gans Hale; nephew, Mike Gans; niece, Marilyn Hale Hulnick; great-niece, Haley Hulnick. Survived by her sister-in-law, JoAnne Berndt; niece, Julie Berndt; great-nieces, Andrea Gans, Michele Gans Wise, and Ryane Hulnick Fears; great-great-niece, Franklyn Fears; and numerous out-of-state family members.
