Manuel Rodriguez

Manuel Rodriguez, 83, former missionary and social worker, went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 5, 2014. Visitation with the family will take place on Friday, July 18, from 6-8 P.M., followed by a funeral service, Saturday, July 19, 10:30 A.M., both at Downing and Lahey Mortuary West Chapel. Manuel was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma; parents, Manuel and Rose, and sister, Elizabeth Sanabria. He is survived by daughters, Melissa Roarke (David), of North Carolina, and Vanessa Richardson (David), of Wichita; brothers, Israel (Aurora), Joseph (Shirley), both of New York, NY, Hector (Lloyda), of New Jersey, and Ruben (Deedee), of South Carolina; sister, Sarah Gonzalez, of Staten Island, NY; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
