Manuela Martinez

Manuela Martinez, 91, Retired Cook at Connies, Anthonys, and several other restaurants, died Monday, November 26, 2018. Rosary will be at 9:00 am, Funeral Mass at 9:30 am, Thursday, November 29, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Chapel at Catholic Care Center. Preceded in death by her husband, Felix Martinez; parents, Tirso and Jovita Olguin; son, Antonio Martinez; numerous brothers and sisters. Survived by her daughters, Janie Dominguez of Clovis, CA, Marie (Brian) Methe, Dolores (Geoff) Hurst, both of Wichita; sons, Felix (Pam) Martinez, Jr., Baudelio Martinez, Andres (Jackie) Martinez, all of Wichita, Ysidro Martinez of Taylor, TX; 18 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. Manuela was a gentle soul who loved her entire family unconditionally and accepted everyone into her home without judgment. You never went away hungry as she loved to display her cooking skills. In her final years though she could not speak she sure tried to sing. She will be missed by all! In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with: Guadalupe Clinic, 940 S.
