Marcella Irene Daze

Marcella Irene Daze, 85, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014. Rosary, 6:30 p.m., Thursday, October 9; Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 10, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Marcy was born in Topeka, Kansas, August 7, 1929, to the late Laurence and Mildred (Hanna) Quaney. She moved to Wichita as a child where she later married Ralph Daze, her husband of 44 years. He also preceded her in death. Marcy retired from the Boeing Company in 1992 after 37 years of faithful service, and was a charter member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She was also preceded in death by sister, Ramona Rausch, and brothers, Laurence “Red”, Patrick and Michael Quaney. Survivors: son, Dan Daze (Teresa) of Wichita, and grandchildren, Jeff Daze (Emily) of Wichita, and Allison Daze of Chicago, IL. Memorials are established with Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
