Marcella J. Marce Goetz

Goetz, Marcella “Marce” J., 86, loving homemaker, died Saturday, May 5, 2007. Marce was born in St. Leo, KS, July 15, 1920, and married George Goetz January 29, 1945. Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Marce was a generous, kind-hearted woman, devoted to her family, faith, and friends. She was an incredible mother and role-model who shared the joys and fruits of her life. A tireless worker, Marce was known for her gardening, canning, cooking and sewing. She was a 4-H leader for 20 years and enjoyed many social and service groups at St. Francis. Preceded in death by husband, George, parents, Michael Anna Kerschen; brothers, Edward, Henry, and Elmer; sisters, Barbara and Lorraine. Survivors: sons, Donald (Jean) of Castle Rock, CO, Ronald (Lynn) of Centennial, CO daughter, JoAnn (Larry) Heasty of Kirkland, WA; brother, Roman Kerschen of Kingman, KS; sisters, Marie Grieving, of Kingman, KS, Gen Laggart of Dodge City, KS; and five grandchildren, Jay Heasty, Kirkland, WA, Megan (Sam) Burch, North Bend, WA, Erica Goetz, Castle Rock, CO, Mason Goetz and Mark Goetz, Centennial, Co.
