Marcia Ann Opp, 100, long time member of Embroiderer’s Guild of America (EGA), died Friday, December 9, 2022. Graveside Service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Lakeview Cemetery. Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Opp; parents, Fred J. and Anita Margaret Neff; brother, Kenneth Neff. Survived by daughters, Marianne (Joe Thomas) Opp of Shell Knob, MO, Nita (Jerry) Long of Benton, KS; two grandchildren. A memorial has been established with: Kansas Humane Society 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.

She was a true friend and very active in Bays Mountain Chapter EGA. She nurtured those of us were raising little ones and encouraged us in learning about stitching. She was an instrumental part of our chapter for a number of years. Know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
