Mareta Faye Podschun

GODDARD - Mareta Faye Podschun, 84, was born in Anthony, Kansas on March 14, 1929. She was a retired buyer for Hortons Furniture. She passed away peacefully on February 9, 2014 in her home. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, February 12 at Downing Lahey Mortuary West, 10515 W. Maple in Wichita. Memorial service and burial will be 10 a.m., Thursday, February 13, at the Argonia Cemetery and Chapel in Argonia, KS. Mareta was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth “Bud” Podschun. She is survived by her daughters, Gay Paxson and Dana Roberts both of Wichita and Rhea and Mark Horyna of Moscow, KS; 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; 2 stepchildren, Cathy Stiger and Chris Podschun.
