Margaret Jane Jacobs

Margaret Jane Jacobs, age 94, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, after a brief illness. She was born November 9, 1929, in Wichita, Kansas to Fred and Gertrude (Dawson) Reinhardt. Margaret married Richard “Dick” Jacobs on July 30, 1960, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Wichita. She was a retired stenographer. Margaret was a member of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority, a woman’s social and cultural organization, for 50 years. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, John Reinhardt. Survivors include sons, Timothy Alan (Carol) Jacobs and James Andrew (Andrea) Jacobs, both of Wichita; grandchildren, Matt, Tyler, and Emily; sister, Marie Leach; and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Reinhardt. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Thursday, February 1, 2024, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am, Friday, February 2, 2024, both at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Private family burial.
