Margaret L. “Marge” Deemer

Deemer, Margaret L. “Marge”, 89, loving mother and retired realtor, went to be with God, Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Celebration of Life Service 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 28, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Marge graduated from East High School in 1937. She graduated from Wichita University in 1941 and then worked as a secretary at Beech Aircraft. In 1944 she married John H. Deemer, a pilot in the U.S. Navy. In 1974, after raising her children, she began a successful career in real estate, working for J. P. Weigand and Sons for the last 8 years, until her retirement in 2003. She is preceded in death by her husband, John and daughter, Linda Kay Ferrentino, both in 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Jayne Deemer of Wichita. A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 4218 SE Blvd., Wichita, KS, 67210.
