Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
My name is Ina Faye (Rowan) Pipkin. I was Margaret’s good friend and schoolmate through the 7th grade. We tried to keep in touch after I left the Norwich school, but after college I have seen her only once, about 5 years ago. Margaret was a dear friend and a wonderful person. I have many fond memories of our grade school days at Norwich, and it grieves me to have read of her passing. I have a wonderful picture of her taken in 1945 with a note to me she wrote on the back of the picture. I would be happy to send it to you if you would like. I could not find an address in the phone book or I would have done so. Margaret is still a dear friend and I will remember her always. I will be away from home the next 2 weeks, so if you would like the picture, it will come after that. Sinclerely,
To the Soltis Family, Hi, it’s Jimmy Lawless. I am sad to hear about the passing of Mrs. Soltis. Although we have not stayed in touch over the years, I have many fond memories as a child of recieving gifts from you guys on Christmas and my birthday. It meant a lot to a kid who grew up without a lot. Please accept my deepest sympathies from myself, my wife Deana, and my whole family. You were and are great God parents to me. God Bless you during these difficult times. Jimmy Lawless.
Dear Jack, Keith, Mary, Jean, Diane, Joyce and families, My sympathy to all of you. Your wife and mother was such a warm welcoming person. I had only a few times with her and all of you, but she always made me feel welcome. I have always remembered her over the years. You are in my prayers. Jane (Pavlyak) George.
Jean – Jack and I were so saddened to hear about your mothers passing. Although we never had the pleasure of meeting her, I can’t imagine that she was anything other than kind and gentle. Peace be with you and your family.
During my one year at North, Margaret was always so kind and such a delight to work with. She was truly a special lady.
It was with sadness that I read the obituary of Mrs. Soltis. She was my typing teacher when I attended North High, and one of my favorite teachers. She had a warm and gentle spirit, and always had an encouraging word for her students. God bless your family as you grieve the loss of a wonderful woman who touched the lives of many.
Our hearts go out to you at this sad time. Long Time Family Friends, Darrel & Carol Barnes
