It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Elida Antonio, a cherished mother, beloved grandmother, dedicated wife, dear sister, and trusted friend. Elida departed from this world at the age of 99, leaving behind a legacy of love and wisdom that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Elida was the guiding light of our family, a beacon of warmth and love that kept us together. She held steadfast to the values of kindness, honesty, and an unwavering faithful Christian. She taught us the importance of family, the enduring power of unconditional love, as well as always keeping faith in the Lord. As a mother and grandmother, Elida was not only a source of love but also an inspiration. She exemplified purity, love, hope, and a zest for adventure in life. She encouraged us to be our best selves and made each of us feel uniquely special through her boundless care and attention. The bonds she forged with us endured throughout our lives, and we carry her teachings with us, passing them on to future generations. Elida's wisdom extended beyond words; it was a lived philosophy. Through and experience and words, she urged us to chart our own paths, reminding us that life's sweetest fruits are harvested from the seeds of hard work, learning from mistakes, and staying resolute in our pursuit of happiness. Today, as we reflect on our lives, we are grateful for her guidance, which has shaped us in profound ways. While we grieve the loss of the physical presence of Elida, we take solace in the knowledge that she has found eternal peace with her Lord and Savior, a faith she held as devotedly as her love for family. She was, and forever will be, our family's saint, mother, grandmother, sister, and dear friend. The cherished memories we shared with Elida will continue to embrace us when we miss her, guide us when we are lost, bring laughter during life's amusing moments, and provide strength during our most trying times. From the moment we were born to her final day on this earth, Elida was our guiding star, and her light will forever shine in our hearts. In remembrance of Elida, let us not mourn with tears of sorrow but celebrate with smiles of gratitude for the love, wisdom, and joy she brought into our lives. Although she is no longer with us in the physical sense, her spirit lives on in each of us, inspiring us to love unconditionally, value family, and embrace life's adventures with hope and determination. Elida Colocho De Antonio is survived by Rafael Antonio, Orlando Antonio, Hector Antonio, Alexander Antonio, Manuel Antonio, and Ernesto Antonio. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has offered their support during this difficult time. Elida's legacy will continue to shine brightly in our hearts, a testament to a life well-lived and a love that knows no bounds. 1. I will forever miss you grandma. You will live in my heart and i’ll be forever grateful for all that you did for me. My fondest memory is when we used to go around the corner from where you lived and we would pick lemons to make lemonade, so kevin and I could sell in the front of your building and we would be so excited. Best time ever!! I have so many memories that i’ll cherish forever!! I love you grandma Elida.

  2. My heart is broken 💔 but I know you’re in a better place now abuelita. For me, It was the greatest blessing to be called your grandson, you did so much for me, I will forever keep the memories of you in my heart. You will always have a special place in it. You taught me to give, to care and to love others without expecting anything in return. Until my final breath on earth, you will always live in my heart. I love you abuelita Elida.

  3. Grandma you had a heart of gold and your kindness was like no other. You always gave what you had no matter how little you may have had you always gave. I still remember you giving me money that you had in your pocket for my son when I last seen you. Every time anyone would come see you, you would always give. I remember how you would always ask me if I could take you to shop so you can buy something to give to others, without hesitation I would take you, I’d be happy to just be spending time with you. I remember always going to visit you after a class and eat with you and have talks with you about your life when you were younger. I remember when days were hard for me at school I’d come see you and you’d make my day so much better and encourage me to keep going with school. Seeing you always blessing us when we would leave your home. I miss you so much but carry you in me always. I will carry on your kindness forever and carry my faith strong like you did. I hope to one day be reunited with you in heaven grandma. I love you and miss you abuelita
