Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Dear Family, it is hard to find comfort in these heartbreaking moments. Lupe was a remarkable person that, to me, signified a fantastic zest for life with an incredible positive attitude. Just a beautiful person that touched the lives of so many people, in so many special ways. A great number of things will make Lupe stay in our memories for ever; perhaps her great sense of humour (who can forget her cheeky smile?), her intellect and love of music and poetry, her loving and caring manner or, her strong determination with a can-do, nothing can stop me attitude. It all amounts to one thing, Lupe was an inspiration to so many of us and, personally, I feel intensely privileged to have been able to share part of her life. ‘I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me – the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to His appearing’ 2 Tim 4:7-8
May you find comfort in the memories that are yours to cherish always, and strength in the companionship of those who share your loss…. I have learned never to underestimate the healing power we all have. It is always there to be used for the highest good. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. (Matthew 5:4) May it be a source of inner strength to know that there’s a loving God watching over you, and that, throughout this time of need, He’ll stay close by your side. All those sleeping in their graves will wake up and sing for joy. As the sparkling dew refreshes the earth, so the Lord will revive those who have long been dead.’-Isa. 26:19.
Dear Liz and families All that I hear/have heard about Lupe in the number of years that I have known Liz and Luis was from Liz the incredible zest for life that she had and the amazing fortitude she had in living so long when we heard numerous times that she wasn’t well and they didn’t expect she would make it. I thank God for her because she has left a legacy for her family. I haven’t personally known her but through Liz and the remarkable person that Liz is, I know her. She passed on the best to Liz. I am drawn to Psalm 23 The Lord is my Sheperd I shall not want.He makes me to lie down in green pastures: He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul: ….. verse 4 I will fear no evil: For You are with me: Your rod and Your staff they comfort me. May God be your continuing source of strength and comfort in the days ahead. I look forward to seeing you soon Liz May God bless you all Your sister in Christ Toni XXXOOO
Dear Liz and family and friends of Lupe. Although I did not know Lupe personally, I feel I know her through her wonderful daughter Liz whose love and dedication to her mum was inspiring. Lupe’s legacy for her long life is her daughters, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren, and she has certainly left a great legacy, people who love and know how to laugh. This time is sad and hard as Lupe has left you all but you are blessed in having her for so long and in knowing she loved Jesus and that she has gone to join Him and her beloved husband.
