In Loving Memory for all who loved Marian and want her to be remembered fondly.
Dean and I loved Marion! We had attended church with her and Wayne! When we moved back to Wichita in 2018 the first people we met for lunch were Marion Bolen and Beverly Exley! We met at ElAgave Mexican Restaurant and we talked and laughed for about two hours! It was such a good day! Such good friends. This loss will leave a hole in our hearts!
I met Marian when we served as Bible Study Fellowship Children’s Leaders together. We continued to meet as part of the “old BSFers” group. We even got to celebrate her 85th birthday! I admired her faith in Jesus Christ. I also loved her sense of humor and laughter. Marian was such a hoot! She didn’t like the idea of growing old, but wasn’t afraid to die because she knew where she would spend eternity because she was redeemed by the Lord Jesus Christ. It was a joy to know her, to serve with her, and to have her as a friend. I look forward to seeing her in heaven.
I met Wayne & Marian in 1954 at church and were very close friends for several years. They got married early on, had kids, I joined the Army and we lost contact for many years. A few years ago we reconnected and then aging took it’s toll. I am so sorry for your family and will be at the Celebration if at all possible. Homer Cook
Marian and Wayne were our neighbors from 1981 to 1992. They were great neighbors and friends, we miss those days when they lived next door and now we will miss them always. Allen and Mary Cooper.
I am so sorry to hear of Marian’s passing.
I’ve known her for many years from Via Christi and Asbury methodist church. She and Wayne were the kindest folks anyone could have met. I enjoyed when Marian and I could chat and catch up on life.
I felt terrible when I heard she was sick and always kept her in my prayers.
I will sure miss her hugs and sweet voice.
Prayers to the family and God bless.
