Baumgardner, Marilyn J., 77, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, November 11, from 7:00 - 8:30 PM, at Downing and Lahey Mortuary, West Chapel. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, November 12, 10:00 AM, at the Dawson United Methodist Church, 2741 S Laura Street, Wichita, KS 67216. Marilyn is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Baumgardner; daughters, Gwen Whittit (Jim), of Goddard, and Susan Sanders (Gary), of Wichita; step-daughter, Mtika Heibel (Steve), of Wichita; brother, Jim Landgrebe (Phyllis), of Rockport, TX; grandchildren, Ryan, Michael, Curtis, Melanie, Dalton, and Savana; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Boyd Lottie Landgrebe, and sister, Naomi Landgrebe.
