Marion Jessica Evers

Evers, Marion Jessica, best known to her family as Granny “Rouge” and “Gigi” passed March 12, 2013 as she gave her final stride to battle cancer. She fought 25 years to have the opportunity to embrace her loving husband, children, and grandchildren. Her amazing spirit, ever present smile, and resolute will to live has been an unbelievable inspiration to all. Her family remembers the many great joys of her life including travel, gardening and time with friends. The acts of kindness, thoughts and prayers have been a true blessing to our family. She is survived by: husband, Larry Evers; brothers, Hubert Dye and William H. Dye; son, Chris Evers and spouse, Monique Evers; daughter, Emily Broeckelman and spouse Brooks Broeckelman. Jecca adored her four grandchildren, Ashton Evers (4) Camille Evers (4) Grant Broeckelman (5) and Finn Broeckelman (1.5). The family would like to extend a special thanks to Reg Hislop and Elizabeth Enoch as well as the entire staff at Larksfield Healthcare Center for their loving and compassionate care in her final days. Holyoke, Wichita, 67208; St. James Episcopal Church , 3750 E. Douglas, Wichita, 67208. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 16, 2013 at St. James Episcopal Church, 3750 E.
