  5. My deepest sympathy to you, dear Stephanie. Marks love for the Lord, his commitment to and love for you, his love for the preborn, his deeply held beliefs and faithfulness to righteousness and truth, his humor – made him such a bright spot in my life. He was a beacon of light in the “midst of this crooked and perverse generation”. How my heart goes out to you. I am grateful his suffering has ended and he now no longer sees “through a glass darkly”, but face to face with our Lord! This world is not our home, and one day soon well all be together, free from the grief of parting. You are ever in my thoughts and prayers.

  6. Mark Mann was a generous person with his time and money. He was a caring person with his family but also with his friends and employees. He had a great sense of humor and could entertain any size group with his quick wit. He was a talented photographer with an artistic eye. He had a deep love for his wife, Stephanie, his father and mother, his in-laws, his brothers, uncles and aunts, cousins, and all the fur babies. He also enjoyed working on his house, cars, and rebuilding vintage stereo receivers, amplifiers, turntables, and speakers. He was a music lover that listened to everything from rock and contemporary to classical and opera. He enjoyed walking with Stephanie and their dogs every evening around their neighborhood. Mark looked forward to driving to a cabin to fish and pray. Above all, Mark was a strong Christian. His faith took priority in his life. 21. I was informed by my former colleague, Deb Peterson of Marks passing. That news was a shock, and in any event I want to extend my deep condolences to Stephanie and to Marks family for a life cut short. I had the pleasure of working with Mark during my tenure at Cessna. 28. My name is Simon Packwood. I am very sorry for your loss. I work at Textron as an IT auditor. During my first visit to Wichita to audit Cessna, Mark was exceptionally kind to me, a somewhat nervous new audit team member, and his support in spite of being on the other side of the audit helped ground me and give me confidence in my abilities. I never worked very closely with Mark, but he was always a gentleman whenever we conducted an audit. I think Cessna lost a great team member when he retired.
