Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
To all of you who wrote to speak so highly of Jeanie, thank you. She left us too soon but left behind such a wonderful and loving legacy. Her family is extremely proud of and grateful for so many who shared her life w/ her and us either by knowing her personally or having their children in her class. Our grief over her loss and the family she left behind is our purpose for living now. As the days of darkness turn to grey and light shines again rest assured Jeanie we loved you and love you still but will miss you forever.
Carlee, When I found out about your mom I was very sad. I am praying for you and your family. I don’t have facebook, but I would love to hear from you. My number is 316-616-8457. Remember God is always with you. Miss you! Regan Tibbits
Our son Logan was blessed to have had Jeanie as his teacher during the midst of his treatment for leukemia. We will forever be thankful for the blessing she was to him. She put laughter and fun back in his life. She brought a smile back to his face. She put music in his heart. She cared for and loved him without smothering him. She quietly cared for him. She helped heal him in a way that no one else could. God put her in his life at a time he most needed her knowing that only she could provide what he needed. Carlee and Alex- you are both so special to Logan. You both treated him not as a cancer patient, but as a friend. He loves you both, just as he loves your mom. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. On the day of Logan’s final chemotherapy treatment, Jeanie sent us a text that said simply ‘Well done good and faithful servant’. We have assurance that as she stood and faced her Lord and Savior, those same words were said to her. Jeanie Weve, Well done good and faithful servant.
Carlee- My heart is broken for you. I know how great a love you had for each other. Know that I am praying for you and your family. If there is anything I can do, please let me know. Love- Gena Marquardt your AWANA leader at West Evangelical Free Church 531-2621 johngena@yahoo.com
Good bye sweet lady. Never saw a frown on your beautiful face. You are an inspiration to us all I\’m how to live for the lord. I can see you so clearly with all your kiddos telling them to dance thru life with a smile. I love you so much and will miss you terribly. Only God can answer why you were taken so soon. Can\’t Wait to see you again. May God watch over your family…love Phyllis SHeehan and family
I knew Jeanie from scrapbooking. She was a joy to be around, always making everyone laugh. She had such a wonderful spirit about her. I and my fellow scrapbookers will miss her dearly.
To all the family, and especially my college friend, Carol. I wish I could be with you but know I share your grief in your terrible loss. May God comfort you this week and the days ahead.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I met Jeanie while subbing at Maize Central Elementary. I remember walking by her classroom and seeing her students dancing beside their desks in the morning and thinking what a fun way to start each day. I had the privilege of subbing both Carlee and Alex over the years and I want both of them to know that I am thinking of them as well as the rest of the family at this time.
We are sorry to hear of Jeanie’s passing so suddenly. I went to Sterling College (’93) with her and stayed in Evans Hall my sophmore year. She was a great person and I hear a GREAT teacher. I have neices and nephews that attend Maize schools. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.
Jeanie was a rare find. Her laugh, positive attitude and words of wisdom were infectious to everyone around her. She lived out loud so that all of us knew her heart for people, for kids and most especially for her family. The lives she touched are forever changed. So many times I heard her say (even in the midst of struggles): ‘It’s all good, girl. It’s all good’. What a privilege to have had her in our lives.
It is so difficult to find the words to express the sadness we all feel over this tragedy. I must try to find comfort in knowing that the Lord needed Jeanie for something very special in heaven. My heart hurts for all of the family and I will be praying for all of you.
Mark and family, We are so sorry to hear of your overwhelming loss. There aren’t the right words under these circumstances, but we hope the love and support of family and friends can help to bring you comfort. You are in our thoughts and prayers, LaChelle and Ryan Fitzmorris and family
Carlee and family, Our prayers and thoughts are with you. Your mother was loved by so many students as well as peers. You will always have her memories in your heart. Love, Mrs. Dent and Stuco
My son, Samuel, had Mrs. Weve this year as his teacher so my time getting to know her was short. However, in that short time Mrs. Weve showed me what was in her heart. She spoke truth to each child individually, building them up and affirming them in her unique way. She touched the lives of many children and adults. May we all be changed because of how she touched each of us. Michelle Bartlett
You were a inspiration to so many students and brought so much happiness into their lives. When my daughter needed help you stayed after school to tutor her so that she would not struggle with her studies. Alyssa will always have a place in her heart for you because you helped her to be who she is today. God bless all of you and know that you will have a angel looking over you always.
Jeanie was a blessing to all of those around her. She was a shining example of the love of Christ. She had such a wonderful way with people, especially children. My heart aches for her family. I pray that you will all be comforted in the days ahead. I’m so glad that I got the chance to know Jeanie. I will never forget her.
I am speechless as I am still in shock. Her laughter is resonating with me and I can only hear her humor and laughter. I am blessed to have coached and ultimately have a friend in ‘Bean’. That summer was the best summer to coach and to make memories for life. This is what friends are all about and glad that our paths had crossed. I miss you!
When I was told of Jeanie’s passing it took me a moment to realize they actually meant Bean. That’s the name I remember her by. We attended Choctaw High School and played basketball together. I have many fond memories of her. Mostly of her sense of humor. It has been about 20 years, but it seems like yesterday. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and her students.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. Jeanie had a God-given gift for teaching. I had the priviledge of working with her at MCE and my son was blessed to have her as his teacher last year. She touched so many people and I know that she will be missed by many.
Many thoughts & prayers to the family of Mrs. Weve… she will be missed by SOOO many as she was a great inspiration to my daughter and so many others in the Maize School District.
A fantastic teacher. But, more so, a wonderful person. Our granddaughters (Britton & Morgan Cloutier) were very fortunate to have shared a classroom and a softball field with Jeanie. Morgan was so excited on the upcoming return of Jeanie to her 4th grade class. This loss is so difficult for so many. Thank you Jeanie for sharing your short life. Your influence now lives on with many.
Carley, I want to let you know I am praying for you and your family. I’ll never forget when your mom surprised you and took you to Disney World. Good memories! Your mother was an inspiration to us all and you are just like her. Love and peace to you and your family.
What an inspiration Jeanie was and a blessing to all who knew her. Many prayers go out to Mark, the kids, and Jeanie’s family.
Deepest sympathies to the family. I did not know her personally, but my son did and said she was a wonderful teacher and person. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. God Bless her family and friends that are left to grieve. You all will be in our prayers.
We don’t know how to express how sad we are for your family and everyone who knew her. Your family is in our prayers!!
Jeanie was a wonderful person and teacher. She was my son’s 5th grade teacher when she taught at Colwich Grade School. She was the most enthusiastic teachers i’ve ever met. We are deeply sadden for your loss. God bless and we will keep her family in our prayers.
Mark our prayer are with you and your family in this time of loss.
