Ms. Hewson was one of my favorite teachers at Wichita Southeast, 1982-1984. I am still using the things I learned in her journalism class and when I was the Sports Editor for The Stampede.
She was smart, funny and simply was a terrific teacher who cared about her students.
God bless this family. So sorry for your loss Gary and Bronwyn.
So sorry to read of Marsha’s death and we send our sincere condolences to Gary and Bronwyn. My husband, Louis, taught at Southeast with Marsha and our son, Terry, was one of her journalism students. We always enjoyed getting her Christmas cards from her after they moved to the Carolina’s. She always asked about Terry. She was a wonderful teacher and friend. Prayers to her family.
