Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
I am the great-granddaughter of Vera Stranahan, for whom Martha worked at Stranahan’s for many years. I have very fond memories of visiting the store and Martha patiently helping me with my clothes, making sure that everything fit just right. She was a warm, caring, generous lady and had a true gift for working with her hands. When I was very small, she created an Easter dress out of lace swatches for me, and I still have it to this day. I trusted her abilities so much that I asked her to make the alterations to my wedding dress when I got married. As always, she used her magic touch and made the dress fit perfectly. Martha was a very special lady and I will always treasure her beautiful smile and my memories with her.
