  3. I worked with Marty during his second stop in Toledo. I always appreciated his calm demeanor and his honest approach to business. He was a good boss but a better man. Truly one of the good ones. He will be missed

  4. One last thought: Whenever anyone who loved, liked or cared for Marty sees a plane flyover………. remember him. Rob Langdon, Akron Ohio

  5. I first met Marty in A&P school. We later worked together as mechanics at the Wichita and Toledo Citation service centers. Marty left Toledo for a number of years to advance his career with Cessna. It was a good day when Marty later returned to Toledo as the General Manager! He was a nice guy, a good mechanic and a great boss. I’ll miss his unique sarcastic sense of humor!

  6. Marty was my first crew chief when I started working at the Toledo Citation service Center.I learned alot from him. He was the consummate professional. Rest in Peace Marty.

  7. Amy and I were both fortunate enough to have worked with Marty and we both feel that we have been made better people by knowing him. Marty always seemed to have the right words for any situation and was always quick with them. We greatly appreciated the fact that he always cared for us not just as employees, but as friends as well. Marty will be missed greatly and always remembered by us and I’m sure by all that knew him. To the family: our deepest sympathies and our most gracious thanks for sharing him with the rest of us.

  8. Marty and I worked as young A&P mechanics at the Toledo Service Center. We would car pool together from time to time. A great person professionally and personally that will be always be remembered and sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

  9. Uncle Marty, you will be missed. Megan, Mitch, & Matt, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Courtney, Paul, & Hadley

  10. Marty was a great friend and a great boss, I’m glad to say I had the please of knowing him and working for him. My heart goes out to your family, the world is a lesser place without him.

  11. There is no way to lessen the sorrow of losing a loved one. Please be reminded that others care very much and hope you have strength and comfort at this sorrowful time. (Psalm 34:18; Psalm 55:22)

  12. I knew Marty from his days at the Toledo Service Center, as well as his time at Wichita. He was a quiet, competent guy, always friendly. I was saddened to hear just last week of his illness. He will be missed.

  13. To Marty’s children: I was a customer and friend of your dad both in Toledo and Wichita. We often hooked up for lunch when I came to town, argued over whose turn for the bill and invariably swapped ‘kid’ stories. He was very proud of his children and I am so sorry for your loss.

  14. I am so sorry for your loss. Although I didn’t ever get a chance to work with Marty, I have worked with a number of the people at the Service Center. They are good people. And I know how hard it is to loose a spouse, father, or grandfather. My thoughts and prayers are with the family he left behind.
