Marvin Ernest Frankamp, 90, Retired Geologist Petroleum, died Wednesday, July 12, 2017. Memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Marvin was a member of the Inventors Club and the Kansas Geological Society. Preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Daisy Frankamp; daughter, Debbie Schichtle; brothers, Gene and Dale Frankamp. Survived by his wife, Rosalie Frankamp; sons, Steve (Peggy) Frankamp, Marty (Karen) Frankamp; daughter, Mary (Ted) Frankamp-Shannon, all of Wichita; grandsons, Kevin J. Frankamp, Conner M. Frankamp, both of Wichita, Garrett M. Frankamp of Kansas City, MO; great-granddaughters, Iris L. Frankamp, Kensleigh A. Frankamp; brothers, Werner Frankamp of Apple Valley, MN, Leon Frankamp of Pine Mountain, CA, Paul Frankamp of Blue Earth, MN; sister, Consie Barnard of Greenville, SC.
