Neubrand, Mary Agnes (Crouchet), 95, retired Fourth National Bank secretary, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M., Friday, March 22, 2013, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Preceded in death by: her husband Robert Neubrand; her parents Lucy Mouton and George Crouchet Sr.; brothers, George Crouchet Jr. and Raymond Crouchet; sisters, Mildred Crouchet Leger and Getrude Crouchet Jerome. Survived by: son, Mark Neubrand (Bonnie) of Salina, KS; daughter, Judith Spooner of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Melissa Spooner (David) Parise of Chicago, IL, Scott Spooner of Basalt, CO, Nicholas (Melissa) Spooner of Kansas City, MO, and Patrick Neubrand Obando of Denver, CO; great-grandchildren, Jaxon Parise and Gemma Parise; brothers, Col. Jack Crouchet and Carroll Crouchet of Lafayette, LA. Mary Agnes Neubrand was born in Lafayette, LA, graduated from Mount Carmel High School and attended Southwestern Louisiana Institute. During World War II, she was secretary to General Edmond B. Gregory, Quartermaster General of the Army in Washington D.C. She was a long time docent at the Wichita Art Museum and served in many other volunteer capacities there. She was also a member of the Center for the Arts, the Historical Museum, Womens Association of the Wichita Symphony, Botanica, The Wichita Gardens and Project Beauty. Memorials have been established with: Blessed Sacrament Endowment Fund, 424 N. Roosevelt, Wichita; Botanica Gardens, 701 N. Amidon Ave., Wichita, KS 67203. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
