Mary Beth Poague, 70, Retired Residential Manager, died Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Graveside Service will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, July 8, 2022, at Havensville Cemetery, Havensville, KS. Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mildred Elaine Poague; sister, Susan Johnson; brother, Terry Poague. Survived by her nieces and nephews, Zachry Poague, Trae Kottler, Robyn Anderson, Jeff Johnson, Steve Poague. A memorial has been established with: Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.

Beth and I first met at a company were we both worked beginning in 1994 and we immediately became great friends. We traveled together and often with our girlfriends, and she was always up for going shopping. We went to a lot of concerts (especially the Eagles who she loved), and there was always beach time! She was fun, funny, artistic, always ready for another trip somewhere, very smart and stylish! She made our lives fun and joyful! I have and will always miss her. RIP my dearest friend!
Beth an I were friends for over 30+ years. We had so much fun and laughed a lot. I will cherish our memories forever. Sending prayers to her family and friends. Glad she is at peace !
