Mary Carolyn McEnulty

Mary Carolyn (Corrigan) McEnulty, 89, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and teacher, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017. Rosary will be at 1:30 P.M., Monday, March 13, 2017. Funeral Mass will follow at 2:00 P.M., all at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She was the daughter of Dr. George and Carolyn Corrigan, and a lifetime Wichitan. She graduated from Mt. Carmel Academy, attended Maryville College in St. Louis, MO, and graduated from Wichita University where she belonged to Sorosis Sorority and was president her senior year. She married her college sweetheart, Ron McEnulty, Thanksgiving morning 1950 at Blessed Sacrament Church. She did substitute teaching in USD 259 for twenty-seven years. She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Ron; her infant daughter, Colleen; her brother, George Corrigan, Jr.; her daughter-in-law, Kimberly Jo McEnulty; son-in-law, Vaughn L. Anderson. Her beloved children survive her: Ron, Jr. (Ronda) of Seattle, WA, Anne McEnulty Anderson of Wichita, Mary Kay Armstrong (Jim) of Longmont, CO, Sean (Patricia) of Wichita, and Michael (Paula) of Flower Mound, TX; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Thomas (Peggy) Corrigan of Seattle, WA, Michael (Mary) Corrigan of Wichita; sister, Kathleen Wells of Wichita; many nieces and nephews.
