Mary Elizabeth Bette Linn

Mary "Bette" Elizabeth Linn 93, devoted Mother and Grandmother, died Friday, February 23, 2018. Private Family Service to be held. Bette was born in Baltimore, MD on April 8, 1924, where she graduated high school and shortly after began her longstanding career from 1946-1981, at the Baltimore City Police Department where she was an emergency telephone operator and later the 911 supervisor. She moved with her daughters family to Wichita, KS in 1986. She adored her daughter and grandsons and "Rizzo" the dog. She loved Shocker basketball. Preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Helen Meyers. Survived by devoted daughter, Angela George of Wichita, KS; loving grandsons, Andrew (Patricia) Ferguson of Lombard, IL, Ian (Holland) Ferguson of Charlotte, NC; great-granddaughter, Lucy Ferguson.
