Mary Jo Watson

Mary Jo (Miller) Watson, 87, died Saturday, December 24, 2016. She was born April 7, 1929 in Coffeyville, KS to LeMary and Herman J. Miller. She married L.A. “Sonny” Watson in September of 1951. During her early years, she served as President of Sedgwick County Womens Republican Club, Secretary of the Republican Central Committee and President of Women of St. James Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, L.A. “Sonny” Watson in January 2005; her parents; and her precious brother, James H. Miller. Survivors are her daughters, Debra Kiser and husband, Wayne, Diane Spunaugle and husband, Bill, both of Wichita; grandsons, Cody (Shawn) Kiser of Minneapolis, MN, Brian Spunaugle; granddaughter, Stephanie (Whit) Spunaugle, both of Wichita, KS. Remembering with love, long-time friend, Diane Z. Park, and caregiver, Angie Dodd, and her precious loving cat, Hunter. Memorial Service will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 29, 2016, at St. James Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, we request donations be made to: St. James Episcopal Church 3750 E.
