Mary Lou Wilhite

Mary Lou Wilhite, entered into eternal life on February 13, 2015. She was born June 2, 1930 in St. Mark, Kansas, to Alvina (Thome) and Anthony Strunk. She was the youngest of seven children. Mary Lou was married to Arthur Wilhite, Jr. on January 30, 1954 in St. Mark. She resided in Wichita for the remainder of her life and was a longtime parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Arthur; daughter, Michelle Brady (Scott), and son, Tony Wilhite (Trish); grandchildren, John Brady, Patrick Wilhite and Owen Wilhite. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Aurelia (Goucher), Isidore, Edmund, Harold, Sylvia (Betzen) and Rudy. A Rosary will be held, 7 p.m., Monday, February 16; Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 17, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Mark Catholic Cemetery in St. Mark. Memorials established with the Guadalupe Clinic, 940 S. St. Francis, Wichita, KS 67211 and Envision, 2301 S. Water, Wichita, KS 67213.
