McDonald, Mary Louise, 91, passed away Monday, December 5, 2011. Visitation with the family, 7-8:30 p.m., Thursday, December 8; Service, 11 a.m., Friday, December 9, both at Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Mary was active in the Catholic PTA, director of the St. Pius Guild and former president of St. Margaret Mary Altar Society. She graduated from Newton High School in 1937 and worked as office manager and bookkeeper for Sunflower Supply and Duntz Tool Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Kenneth McDonald; parents, William and Louise (Adam) White; brothers, William, Edgar, Francis, Harold and Frank White. Survivors: children, Kathleen Maus, Micheal McDonald (Mary), John McDonald (Sandy) all of Wichita; sister, Madge Hood of Marshfield, MO; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Hospice Care of Kansas, 2622 W. Central, Suite 501, Wichita, KS 67203.
