Matt Heppler, 57, died Saturday, April 26, 2025. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with Memorial Service at 1:00 pm, both Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Matt loved golf, boating, visiting the lake, working out and especially coaching his son's sports. He was a welder at Beechcraft. Preceded in death by his parents, Richard J., Jr. and Betty Jean Heppler; brother, Richard J. Heppler, III; dog, Cooper. Survived by his wife, Michelle A. Heppler; sons, Jacob (Aubrey) Heppler, Johnathan (Madysn) Heppler, Jackson Heppler; grandchildren, Joel Heppler, Vivian Heppler; brother, Robert Heppler; sister, Sheryl (Jodie) Loux; and cat, Charlie. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: Elevate Hospice, 1861 N. Rock Road, Suite 380, Wichita, KS 67206.

I am sad to see this. I went to high school and graduated with Matt. Git to watch him play football at many games. We weren’t close friends but I remember him well! Praying for the family!
