Matthew Alan Lies, 33, carpenter, died Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Rosary will be at 10:30am, and Funeral Mass will be at 11:00am, both on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021 at Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church. Matthew was a 2006 graduate of Andover Central. He enjoyed baseball & football. Preceded in death by his mother, Dinah Lee (Dienst) Gordin; grandparents, Donald P. and Mary R. (Hermes) Lies, John and Sharilyn (McCoy) Dienst. Survived by his daughter, Mariah Harris; father, Alan Wayne Lies; step-mother, Teresa Lies; sister, Stephanie Lies; brother, John (Sapphire) Lies; step-brother, Joshua (Brandy) Dicks; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives & friends. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Lord's Diner, 520 N Broadway Ave, Wichita, KS 67214. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.
