  1. Max and Jerry were the best neighbors I’ve ever known. Their kindness, encouragement, & humor helped me through tough times. We shared meals, including when I picked out ALL the olives out of Jerry’s otherwise delicious casserole, listened to Ella Fitzgerald produce music only she could, worked our gardens together and just enjoyed one another. GOD’S Divine Hand came into play also. My eye became infected from wiping a sweaty sleeve across it as I spread 12 yards of rock around using only a wheelbarrow & shovel. Max spotted a potentially serious infection. He encouraged-as close to force as I ever witnessed-me to immediately get to my doctor. Crisis was averted. Jackie and I pray for every family member, friend and all touched by this very fine man🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

  2. My thoughts and prayers are with Jerry and her family. Max was one the kindest and genuine caring person. He was one of those people who come into your life that you never forget. I will always remember him with a smile on his face and doing all he could do to make things right. A very, very special person.
