Maxine A. Dressen

Maxine A. Dressen, 85, Retired Secretary at Magdalen School, died Sunday, February 28, 2016. Rosary will be at 9:30 A.M., Tuesday, March 8, 2016; Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 A.M., all at Church of the Magdalen Catholic Church. Maxine began her career in the oil business as an accountant for Search Drilling. She also worked at The First Place. Later, she joined the administrative staff at Magdalen Church where she served as School Secretary. She treasured her time with the hundreds of children she considered her own. She loved to garden and paint, did cross word puzzles every morning, and loved dogs, especially her poodle, Madi. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Clara Dressen. Survived by her nephew, Phillip (Barbara) Dressen of Dallas, TX; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives, friends, and neighbors. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with: Magdalen Catholic School, 2221 N. 127th St. E., Wichita, KS 67226; Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside St., Wichita, KS 67219.
