Maxine Marie (Raple) Tiemeyer, 84, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021. Maxine retired from St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, where she worked as an Oncology Nurse for more than 35 years. She touched many lives with her kindness, selflessness, love and support. She enjoyed traveling and playing slots, her faith and love for family were the most important. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; parents, George & Barbara (Plutz) Raple; twin daughters, Cynthia & Cecilia; brothers, John, Francis, Louis (Delma) & George (Mercedes); Bro. Andrew; sisters, Margaret (Leon) Rucker, Barbara (Charles) Surovik; and cousins who were raised by her parents, Joe (Bertha) Merrill, Edward (Elizabeth) Merrill and Mary Elizabeth (Clyde) Murphy. Survived by her children, Bonnie (Jesse) Guerrero of Dodge City, Mary Kay (Wayne) Hansen, Thomas, Jane Maes, Kenneth (Carrie), Donna Stalnaker, all of Wichita, Carol (Rick) Alexander of Knoxville, TN; sister, Mary Smith of Palo Alto, CA; grandchildren, Brian Tiemeyer, Collin Maes (Abigaile Lewis), Sara (Michael) Salerno, Shawn Hansen, Eric (Chevelle) Guerrero, Kyler and Kelby Stalnaker, Evan and Lauren Alexander, Zachary Tiemeyer, Maria and Sophia Tiemeyer; step-grandchildren, Mark (Summer) Guerrero II and Andretta (Carl) Bennett; She was also blessed with 11 great-grandchildren. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Thursday, June 17, 2021; Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Friday, June 18, 2021, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
