McConaughey, Maxine R. (Stevenson), 82, homemaker and retired bookkeeper, died Sunday, August 3, 2008. Funeral service, 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 8, Downing and Lahey Mortuary West. Graveside service, 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 9, Grant County Cemetery, Ulysses, KS. She is preceded in death by husband, Eugene Dillon McConaughey. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Chelle and Mike Carter of Wichita, Deborah and John Kearn of Jamestown, KS, Kathy and Robert Starr of Derby; son and daughter-in-law, Kent and Beverly McConaughey of Atchison, KS; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorials have been established with Alzheimerss Association, 347 Laura, Wichita, KS 67211 and Faith Home Health and Hospice, 7804 E. Funston, Suite 203, Wichita, KS 67207.
