It’s been many years now since we visited, but I wanted to give my condolences to you and your family, on the passing of your beloved husband recently. You and Art were wonderful to be around and getting to share time with you and my in laws in Vancouver was a hilight of my life. We had great fun on the ferry ride. Blessings to you both..🍁

Asher, Melba Sue, 75, former dental receptionist, died Friday, July 20, 2007. Service 1:30 P.M., Monday, July 23, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Melba Sue Henderson was born in Severy, KS on March 7, 1932 to Beulah Freeman and Ernest Henderson. She married Arthur Asher July 16, 1950 in Wichita, KS. Melba was a member of East Heights United Methodist Church and graduated from East High School in 1950. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Arthur, a sister, Eleanor Adams of Beloit, two sons, Gary and Brad, one daughter, Susan Reed, 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Memorials donations may be made to East Height United Methodist Church, 4407 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS, 67218 and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Inpatient Unit, 929 N. St. Francis, Wichita, KS, 67214.
