Melva M.Owens, 77, died Friday, June 10, 2016. Melvas love of people lead to a wonderful career in the public schools in the Wichita, Derby, and Cheney, KS areas. Memorial Service will be at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, June 16, 2016, at Andover United Methodist Church. Survived by her husband, Royal Owens; children, Royal Craig Owens (Tamara Kupper) of Basalt, CO, Gary Owens (Holly Dyer) of Wichita; grandchildren, Alex, Satchel, Chloe, Karuna; siblings, Wayne Barrier of Sedgwick, KS, Doris (Dale) Royster of Owasso, OK, Leah (Bruce) Bohor of Green Valley, AZ.
