Melvin Greenman Jr., 74, Plasterer and Jig Builder at Beechcraft, died Friday, May 26, 2023. Memorial Service will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. The service will be live streamed and can be viewed by clicking "Watch Event" below. Preceded in death by his parents, Melvin, Sr. and Roberta Greenman; brother, Walter Greenman. Survived by his wife, Teresa Greenman; daughters, Crystal Ritter, Melanie Beckham of Andover; sons, Joshua Greenman of Bel Aire, Philip Greenman of Wichita; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Tom Greenman of Prescott Valley, AZ, Paul (Bobbi) Greenman of Wichita; sister, Pamela Greenman of Wichita; many nieces and nephews. As I am Mel’s uncle Danny, I always thought of him as my little brother. He was a joy to be around. I dearly miss him.
I have known Mel and Teresa for many years. I met them through my fiance , Bill, who was a good friend of Mel’s. When Bill was killed in a truck accident, Mel and Teresa were by my side the whole time. I don’t know what I would have done without them. Their support and friendship I will never forget. Mel, I will always remember and love you! You will be so missed! Your family will be in my heart and prayers! Rest in peace good friend!
