My dear cousin, who was always more of a big brother to me growing up. I will always hold you dear to my heart as I cherish the wonderful, life-time memories I have. I’ll miss you. Rest in Peace. Love, Wanda
Condolences to my cousin Melvin’s son Mitchell, his nephews Seth and Nathan and their mother Denise. My mother and I would travel to Wichita once a year to visit my three aunts and uncles in Wichita. We usually stayed with Melvin’s parents Chester and Ethyl. Melvin was older than I, and I remember going to watch Melvin play baseball with his team at night games. I also remember what may have been his first car, a bright red Pontiac convertible that he kept super clean. It is truly a small world and many years later Melvin and I were working in the same area at Beech Aircraft. Melvin started at Beech as a clerk. One of my bosses and several of my coworkers were clerks with him at that time. During his work at Beech Melvin made many friends. I am attaching an old photo that my mother, his aunt, Beulah took just after Melvin’s graduation from high school. Wanda’s mother, his aunt Edith posed with Melvin. Rest in peace cousin, Charles White
