Merl “Rick” Watkins, 74, Senior Director of Employee Services at Pepsi Co., died Friday, May 12, 2017. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, May 18, 2017, at St. Jude Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Merl and Ruth Watkins; daughter, Jennifer Watkins; brother, Lester Michael Watkins. Survived by his wife, Barbara Watkins; sons, Merl "Ronn" Watkins of Wichita, Jerry (Pam) Watkins of Valley Center, KS; step-sons, Brian (Karrie) Botts of Niceville, FL, Brad (Karen) Botts of Argyle, TX; step-daughter, Brenda (Jim) Tatman of Wichita; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
