Sears, Merle J. "Jim" 83, Retired Cosmetologist and Business Manager, died Saturday, November 28, 2015. Jim loved his post-retirement job at WSU. Funeral Service will be at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Survived by his wife, Vanetta Sears; son, Sheldon (Melinda) Sears; daughter, Jama (Phillip) Challans; granddaughters, Melody (Kyle) Stanberry, Michelle Sears, all of Wichita.
