  1. Hey Mike.. my heart hurts so much right now. I know we aren’t promised tomorrow, i just thought I’d have a little more time with you. I’m thankful for the time I did have with you. We had plenty of talks and lots is laughs. You turned me onto some good tunes.. Even tho you were hurting, you always kept a smile. I never got to tell you how awesome of a friend you were so I’m gonna say it now.. Thank you Mike for being the person that you are. Thank you for showing me how to work hard. Even tho we make mistakes, you NEVER stopped shining. Thank you for blessing me with your friendship. It’s not gonna be the same going into outback but know that even tho your gone you will forever LIVE in my heart. I love you mike.. it’s your time to be a “Freebird”..ps.. tell my mom I said to watch out for you…be good up there. Till I see you again.. Ebony&Gypsy Cummings- Mills

  3. Dear Mike Simon Family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Mike. I only met him a few times, mostly when my niece, Emily, married John. Mike was a very kind man. He will be deeply missed. May he Rest In Peace.

  4. I met Michael at the Dry Dock, many years ago. My brother, Mark, worked there for him for several years. I have always remembered how kind Michael always was to my kids and I when we’d go out there to see Mark. When my brother passed early last year, Michael reached out to me and even shared at Mark’s service. He had continued texting occasionally and sharing more wonderful stories with me since then, still as kind as ever! I am so sorry for your loss. He will be missed. Praying for comfort and peace for your family.
