Michael Blume

Blume, Michael, 84, Boeing Engineer, died Monday, January 13, 2014. Rosary will be at 5:00 P.M., Sunday, January 19, 2014, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Memorial Mass will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 20, 2014, at Church of the Magdalen Catholic Church. Michael was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Retired Business and Professional Mens Club, and the Pi Alpha Pi Fraternity. He loved to golf, travel, and was known as “Mr. Fix It.” Preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Daisy (Anderson) Blume; former wife, Mary Ann Malone; sisters, Frances Hotze, Margaret Nyberg; brother, Herman Francis, Jr. Survived by: wife, Betty (Wood) Riedl of Wichita, KS; children, Michael (Sheri) Blume of St. Charles, MO, Gregory (LeAnne) Blume of Delaware, OH, Darrin Blume of Severna Park, MD, Cindy McCollum of Pueblo, CO, Jayme Blume of Newark, MD, and Carla Henton of Dodge City, KS; sister, Audrey LaPell of Haywood, CA; and seven grandchildren.
