Dr. Martin was a great physician to work along side of. As a nurse, I knew I could go to him with any question or concern and he would respond respectfully and in a very caring way. He was an amazing part of our team.
Mike was an amazing person, and will be deeply missed. We love you Ariya, and you and the girls are in our prayers daily. Please call or write if there is ever anything we can do. Jon and Megan
Ariya, so sorry for what you and the girls are going through! We are thinking of you and holding you all in our hearts!
From what I remember of Uncle Mike he was a lot of fun to be around. Although I have not seen him in many years, and he is not my biological uncle, I always considered him a part of my family. I wish I could have had a closer relationship with him. Rest easy Uncle Mike.
There are no words to ease the pain your family is facing. We are praying for you and your precious daughters daily. May Mike rest in eternal peace.
I am so sorry for this tragic loss to your entire family. I worked with dr. Marten for several years and I was lucky enough to meet Sophia. I bought honey from her a couple different times and he brought her out to the West emergency room to bring the honey to me. my love thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Peace and love to Mike’s family… such a tragic loss of a great man.
My heart breaks for the Martin family. He will be missed.
Dr. Martin was a character indeed. I remember like it was yesterday when over night we had a significant amount of snow. Dr. Martin was concerned about him getting home. I told him that I would take him and did. Upon getting him home I meet his wife who was so nice and had a countenance that was so pleasant and loving. May God continue to shower blessings upon this family in this time of sorrow. Thanks to the Heavenly Father that my path enable me to meet this family. Godspeed continue to shine upon your family .
Dr. Mike, one of the most unique people I’ve ever met. He had a million stories and he told each one of them as he was telling it for the first time, with so much enthusiasm and laughter that you couldn’t help but get sucked right into it! I met Mike through the bees, he helped me split my hives and raise some queens. My son and I would go check on his hives with him in the backyard as he lived across the street. Not a day went by we didn’t see him outside teaching his little girls something, whether it be throwing the football, walking the slack line, or even casting a fishing rod! Dr. Mike was one of a kind. We’ll miss your booming voice (hollering across the street to my boys, “WHAT’S UP DUDES?!?!”) & your infectious energy. All the love in the world to Ariya, Sophia, & Violet.
Dear Ariya, I hope you and the girls are okay. I just learned of this and am deeply saddened but filled with good memories. Call or email me any time.
I remember Mike as a student at Marple Newtown. I befriended him because of his love for the outdoors. He went along with me and my family to the Pocanoes to fly fish. We teied flies together and hiked and then he told my wife and I he wanted to be an emergency doctor and we lost touch. My wife and I always wondered what happened to him and are so sorry to hear of his passing. Rest in peace Mike. Charlie Wagner
