Walker, Mike, 57, retired mechanical engineer at Boeing, died Thursday, May 9, 2013. Funeral Service will be at 9:30 A.M., Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Burial will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Sherman Cemetery, in Sherman, KS. Preceded in death by his father, Dempsey Walker. Mike is survived by his wife, Jane Burkholder Walker; daughters, Lindsey Walker of Wichita, Lauren Walker of Manhattan, KS; sister, Beverly Marietta of Pittsburg, KS; mother, Doris Elaine (Merciez) Walker of Pittsburg, KS.
