Mildred E. Greenwood

Mildred E. (Wagner) Greenwood, 91, retired bookkeeper, was born May 25, 1921 in Sebewaing, Michigan and passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Visitation with the family, 5-7 p.m., Sunday, April 28, Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Service, 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 29, Messiah Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at 2 p.m., McPherson Cemetery in McPherson. Mildred was a former McPherson County Democratic Party chairman, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, a piano teacher and played the organ for her church for 78 years. Preceded in death by parents, Herman and Clara (Ziegler) Wagner; infant son, Gary Lloyd Greenwood; sister, Nelda Gaeth, and brother, Harold Wagner. Survivors: husband, Lloyd Keith; son, Gregg (Cindy) of Wichita; daughter, Milloy Liebe (George) of Goddard; brother, Rev. Wernor Wagner of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Michael Liebe, Kyle Liebe, Becca Tjaden (Kirk) and Joshua Liebe. In lieu of flowers, memorials established with Messiah Lutheran Church, 1241 N.
