Mildred Koob, 89, died Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Rosary will be at 9:30 am, Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, March 9, 2023, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Inurnment in Ness City, KS at a later date. Preceded in death by parents, Philip J. and Antonetta Leiker; sisters, Henrietta Haas, Dorothy Hurd, Marcella Briand, and Lorena Leiker; brothers, Alvin Leiker, Norbert Leiker, Kenneth Leiker. Survived by her daughter, Shonda (Jeff) Broomhead; son, Steven Koob, both of Wichita, KS; sister, Edna Brown of Cheney, KS; brother, Ronald Leiker of Orinda, CA; grandchildren, Tyler Littleton, Cody Koob, Matthew Koob, Shayla Allee; and great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with: Alzheimer’s Association, 1820 E. Douglas Ave., Wichita, KS 67214. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.
